Lomography.

I'm loving experimenting with photography at the moment (when I get the chance - v.busy applying for graduate jobs and working) but I took these photos a few months ago when completing a creative brief for university...off to the woods me and my sister went with 5 sack fulls of props, balloons, clothes and anything escapist circus related!! I love the lomo effect, really taking to the colour and making the woods seem just a little bit creepy and muted.

I'm going to V Festival this month so I'm sure to be experimenting with Lomo cameras (Although its fair to say the pictures will almost certainly be a little bit 'messy' shall we say!

Mexico Outfits.

So holiday shopping is one of my favourite parts of going away...Yes you probably wont get much wear out of some of the clothes you want to buy because the English weather is so hit and miss (looking good so far though YAY) but...Your going on holiday!! And thats a good enough reason for me to over indulge a little in lovely clothings to wear over there. I WILL WEAR THEM ALL AGAIN, promise! Heres a few of the outfits I wore, and a couple of Scott wearing his jelly sandals and looking lovely:

Ahh I Love You Mexico.

I got back from Mexico 5 days ago! It was the most amazing holiday I've ever been on. It was so sunny, then we got hit by the first hurricaine of the season - Hurricaine Alex - Which resulted in the craziest thunder and lightening storms ever, and a few days in the room watching harry potter films. Me and Scott had such a fun 2 weeks, swimming in cenotes, with dolphins an turtles, lazing at the pool, canoeing in the ocean to nightclubbing in the famous Coco Bongos.

Heres a few photos:

Me and my boyfriend Scott at the beach after a few days of Hurricaine Time.

A mini Cenote - Fresh water (V Drinkable - Our hotel got all its water from local cenotes) which looks so clear and clean it is just stunning...expecially when your allowed to swim in them.

The lazy pool with a swim up bar = endless strawberry daquri's and Mojitos...YUM!

Inside Coco Bongo's - It has to be one of the most fun show/nightclubs I have ever been to. AMAZING!!

The Best Book In The World Maybe??

Hello. On my last minute shopping travels on the look out for all the boring *but we really love buying them* things like sun lotions and potions, and fiddly little travel accessories I found possibly the most creative and fashioney yummy book ever.

It's full of illustrations by Nina Chakrabarti related to fashion, daydreams and shopping. HEAVEN!! I snapped it up straight away and plan to spend a good few hours of the flight to Mexico releasing Creative Clare and having lots of colour related fun!!

Heres a few sample pages from inside the book...

Roses are Red.

I fell in love with this Johann Earl dress which I found on Asos last week. The fact that I loved the model Jade McSorley on Britains Next Top Model last year may have helped pursuade me to 'add to bag' because she looks pretty awesome in any clothes she models!!

I wore this dress for a night out for one of my best friends 21st Birthdays on Saturday to a night club called Circo which was lots of fun!

Summer Fun

Hello.

I'm flying away to the beautiful Mexico in 13 days with the boy, and cannot wait. Relaxing around the pool gorging on books, swimming for hours on end in the sea with all the pretty fish, and spending my nights exploring a new Country and just escaping from England for a little while. YAY!

One little problem only - CASH FLOW. I'm trying to save most of my jobs wage for spends over there, which has left me making 'wishlists' of summer clothes that I really do need (honest) but unfortunatley cannot afford to buy at the moment. Here's one I made the other day:
Sunglasses - Topshop, Bikini - Warehouse, Dress - Miss Selfridge, Red Satchel - Urban Outfitters, Denim Wedges - ASOS, Lace-Up Sandals - Topshop.

Hello.

Well I'm only just recovering from a crazy night out on Tuesday to celebrate the end of University once and for all with my class mates...Too much alcohol, but it was lots of fun...Now I just need to sort my life out and decide how I'm going to actually use my degree.

I wore this Topshop Maxi which has got such a pretty print, very vintagey with the creased chiffon fabric and little purple flowers.

I'm really loving maxi dresses at the moment as I seem to be drawn to them when shopping (I think my mind is subconsciously telling me to have one for everyday of the week). They are just so floaty and easy to wear, and require minium effort which is good for me as I always seem to leave getting ready until the very last minute , oopsie.

Wearing - Topshop Maxi Dress - Topshop Wedges.
